Outline of Project Controls
Our project team will manage the construction process to achieve predictable results within the contract budget and schedule objectives. To this end, the project team monitors and documents adherence to scope agreements, schedule, and monitoring of work execution through daily and weekly reporting. The purpose for our reporting efforts is to identify and predict any deviations from the project execution plan. Real time observation positions the Owner to make confident, informed decisions in a proactive environment versus reactive, after deviations have already occurred.
Clients may at times be offered multiple scenarios and solutions as we navigate the construction process. Accompanying any proposed solutions to construction issues will be a value analysis or pro/con assessment outlining the trade-offs for the decision to be made.
We task load the project schedule to identify the critical path. Project documentation is maintained on our secure servers with physical and remote backups. We facilitate cloud storage, mobile access, and controlled participation of the Owner, Design, and Subcontract teams to relevant project documents and updates through proprietary software systems.
Progress reports are compiled daily and published to the project management team. Open items requiring owner or designer feedback are immediately distributed, while work deficiencies, errors, and punch list items are documented and assigned to the appropriate parties and tracked until resolution. This information is compiled and presented to the client on a weekly basis. The client receives an updated digital report for their reference and in-person or remote conference to review project status.
